Resubmitting the older query in more clear way.
Beard has two dimension .One is area wise coverage and other is length wise coverage which is hanging portion .In wudu, it is obligatory to wash the part of beard which is within the limit of face which is forehead to bottom of chin. Is part of beard which extends upon throat beyond end of chin and also hanging part considered to be out of limit of face? What about washing those part, say, sunna , mustahab or innovation in Hanafi View?
There are two kinds of beards: 1) light and less dense beard. 2) thick and dense beard.
It is not obligatory to wash the thick and dense beard. If the beard is very small and less dense then it should be washed. Otherwise one should make Khilal of beard.
According to Imam Abu Hanifah (R.A), making Masah of 1/4 of beard is Fardh. According to another opinion of Imam Abu Hanifah and Imam Muhammad, it is obligatory to pass water over the visible area of the beard. This second opinion is considered the more reliable.
The part of one's beard that hangs below the chin is not required to be washed.
And Allah knows best.
