Can we recite sura-e- ikhlas while driving if we are without wudhu?(without touching Quran) Verbally
Or in case what we can recite without wudhu and wudhu is compulsory in which cases
It is permissible to recite Surah Al- Ikhlas or any other Surah of the Holy Qur'an while one is not in state of Wudhu as long as one avoids touching the Holy Qur'an directly.
It is also permissible to make any form of Dhikr (rehearsal of Allah's name/remembrance) while one is not in the state of purity.
The only time when a person is not allowed to recite Qur'an with the intention of Tilawah is when one is in state of major impurity. State of major impurity occurs when a person has done one of the following things:
1- Sexual intercourse
2- Wet dream
4- Seminal discharge
Also a woman is not allowed to recite Qur'an with the intention of Tilawah during her days of menstrual cycle and during her days of post child-birth bleeding.
Touching of the Holy Qur'an requires that a person is in state of complete purity.
And Allah knows best.
