Answer

As salaamu'alaykum Mufti Saheb, What is the ruling regarding selling a house to an individual who will take out a bank loan in order to fund the purchase of the home. Therefore, the bank (or financial company) will be providing the funds in entirety to you. If it is permissible, is it in any way better to avoid such a transaction or is there no concern whatsoever in this matter. Jazak'Allahu khayran.

Assalam u Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,

If the seller played no role in guiding the buyer to a conventional lender, promoting the interest based products of a lender, or encouraging the buyer into getting an interest based loan then the earnings of seller are deemed Halal. Seller is not resposnsible for any act of the borrower. Although, it appears that the seller will be getting his paycheck directly from the lender but it does not Islamically harm the transaction at that point since the bank is simply acting in the capacity of an agent for the buyer at that time.
