How would inheritance of a woman be distributed? Please advise in the cases of married woman with children and a woman that did not marry. If she has clearly identified some persons to receive a certain part of inheritance, would these parts be out of the distribution?
If a married woman is survived by husband and children then her heirs would include: husband, children, parents etc...
If a non married woman dies, her heirs would include: parents, siblings etc....
It is permissible to make a will to give up to 1/3 of inheritence to someone as long as the recipient is not someone whose share is defined by the Shariah.
Those whose share is already defined by the Shariah are not entitled to any wills from inheritence.
And Allah knows best.
